NavixScribe now pairs with Plaud recorders. The session is captured on a dedicated device instead of a phone, then sent straight to NavixScribe for transcription and a finished note in your format. Plaud's cloud is never in the path. A phone call, a notification, or a dropped connection on the phone delays the sync instead of ending the session.
Open NavixScribe, tap Connect Plaud, and pick your device. It links through Plaud's SDK, not the Plaud app, so nothing else to install and no Plaud account required. If it is connected to the Plaud app, disconnect your Plaud device there and reconnect it to Navix. The recorder links to one app at a time, and switching takes a minute in either direction. Sync any recordings you want to keep before you disconnect; what is still on the device is erased.
Press record and put the recorder down. The session is captured on the device itself. Your phone can ring, die, or sit in another room. The recording is safe.
When the session ends, the recording syncs to NavixScribe, runs through the same transcription pipeline as every other Navix session, and comes back as a finished note in your template.
Phone-based scribes stop when the phone does: a call, a notification, a dead phone battery, an app crash. A Plaud recorder holds the session on the device until it has synced, so a phone interruption delays an upload instead of erasing an encounter.
Audio moves from the recorder to NavixScribe and nowhere else. Plaud's cloud and Plaud's app are not in the path, so your session audio is handled only under Navix's HIPAA controls and BAA.
