DAANES
The Drug and Alcohol Abuse Normative Evaluation System is Minnesota's SUD treatment data system. Providers must enroll and participate in DAANES, and every SUD client must be entered for each admission episode regardless of funding source. A provider does not receive reimbursement as a SUD treatment provider unless DAANES requirements are met. Data is collected at admission, a six-month review for opioid treatment clients, and discharge.
